Novels
Ghosts of November - as a massive solar storm and major blizzard build over Lake Superior a freighter hauling iron ore encounters a foundering wreck. Meanwhile a weary traveler from Southern Florida arrives in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to take possession of his grandfather’s estate and finds a mysterious photo.
As the storm builds the ethereal boundary between the natural and supernatural worlds fades. Soon nature’s wrath surrounds and engulfs them both as it wreaks havoc on both land and sea.
At sea Captain Taylor is totally immersed in the here and now of protecting his ship and crew. On land Karl Novak is drawn into an exploration of past mysteries that surround his grandfather and himself. Neither could have ever suspected that their fates will become strangely intertwined - guided it seems by interventions from the other side.

TROLLS - set in a future in which virtually all humanity live their entire lives within the confines of towers or massive skyscrapers. For centuries the only ripple on the placid sea of the Tower Dwellers existence had been the Trolls, a small group living apart beneath these massive structures. Increasingly the Tower Dwellers mistrust their motivations and fear their imagined mystical powers.
Abruptly their serene existence is faced with destruction and Vice-chancellor of Tower Fifty-One, Govann Brann, unassuming academic turned politico, discovers existential threats confront both groups, threats that neither can overcome alone.
His efforts are thwarted by Councilman Lunda Chokwe who has secretly plotted a Troll genocide for years. The Machiavellian Chancellor Tyre has used these men as counterweights; playing them against each other for years but fails to realize when he has lost control. Now with the survival of both cultures in doubt it falls on Govann to save mankind from another extinction event as centuries of peace degenerate into riots, intrigue, and rebellion; within, beneath and in space above Tower Fifty-One.
The Tequila Effect - a trio of college students, many bottles of tequila and a graduation party out of control. The combination sets off a chain of events that disrupt the civilized world.
How? A computer hack intended as a harmless prank spreads relentlessly. Mix in a run in with a Satanist cult and, oh, by the way, every law enforcement agency on planet Earth and things get strange.
The result is that our hero, “call me Mark”, a perennial underachiever watches his dream of being a professional student go up in smoke. To stay alive he has to set aside his laid back persona long enough to outwit adversaries on both sides of the law all of whom are out for blood.
